Cyber-terrorism & Cybercrime
I don't actually think there is such a thing. As my friend James Wolfe said "when you use an ice pick to attack someone, you don't suddenly call it ice pick terrorism". However, since the term is so widely used, I thought I'd take a look into exactly what it is supposed to be.
Cyberterrorism - This paper was published in a book called "Essays on Terrorism", and it was also used for helping some of the worlds public servants to better understand the issues.
Cyberterrorism and the Home User - With so much "noise" about home users and cyberterrorism, I thought it might be good to provide a voice of reason amidst the noise. This paper was published by Symantec.On the definition and classification of Cybercrime - The idea of Cybercrime is not new, yet there is significant confusion amongst academics, computer security experts and users as to the extent of real Cybercrime. This paper has case studies, and defines cybercrime "types", providing a useful taxonomical view of cybercrime.
